Filling bars is as simple as tapping. There are three ways:

• 1Double-tap any bar to fill it completely to 100%
• 2Tap and drag along the bar to set it to a specific level
• 3Tap the bar once to bring up a quick-fill menu with preset amounts

Each need bar depletes at its own natural rate based on real human biology and your personal schedule. The rates are:

• ⚡Energy — depletes over ~16 hours (a full waking day)
• 🍎Food — depletes over ~8 hours (roughly 3 meals per day)
• 💧Water — depletes over ~4 hours (gentle reminder to stay hydrated)
• 💬Social — depletes over ~48 hours (slower, social needs vary)
• 🎮Fun — depletes over ~24 hours
• 🚿Hygiene — depletes over ~36 hours

With Taqat Premium, you can customize each bar's depletion rate to match your personal rhythm.

Bar color indicates urgency based on the current level:

• ●Green (70–100%) — All good, need is well-satisfied
• ●Yellow (40–70%) — Getting low, time to act soon
• ●Orange (20–40%) — Low, your creature is feeling it
• ●Red (0–20%) — Critical, please take care of this need

A streak is counted when you fill at least one need bar during a calendar day. Open the app and fill any bar to keep your streak alive.

Your streak resets at midnight in your local timezone if you haven't filled any bars that day. Streaks are shown on the home screen and in the Mood Insights tab.

To switch your active creature:

• 1Tap the creature card on the main dashboard
• 2The creature gallery opens — browse all 25 creatures
• 3Tap any unlocked creature to set it as your active companion
• 4Creatures with a lock icon are available to unlock via In-App Purchase

There are 25 creatures total. Here's how to unlock them:

Your creature mirrors your real-life wellbeing. Its mood is determined by your lowest need bar. If any bar drops into the red or orange zone, your creature will look tired, sad, or worried.

Fill your depleted bars and your creature will cheer up right away. The goal is to keep all bars in the green — that's when your creature is at its happiest and most animated.

No. Taqat is entirely private and local. There is no social feed, no sharing, no comparing creatures with other users. Your creature exists only on your device for your eyes only.

All purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored for free on any device:

iOS manages widget refresh timing system-wide to preserve battery life. Taqat widgets update based on your bar depletion schedule, so the refresh timing is intentional.

If your widget seems stuck or shows stale data, try these steps:

• 1Open the Taqat app and fill any bar — this forces an immediate widget refresh
• 2If still stuck, remove and re-add the widget from the Home Screen
• 3As a last resort, restart your iPhone

Live Activities show your most depleted bar in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen in real-time, without opening the app.

To start a Live Activity, go to Settings → Notifications → Live Activities and ensure they are enabled for Taqat. The Live Activity starts automatically when a bar drops below 40%.

Live Activities require iPhone 14 or later for Dynamic Island support. Lock Screen Live Activities work on iPhone 12 and later.

Taqat follows your device language. To change the language:

• 1Open your iPhone's Settings app
• 2Scroll down and tap Taqat
• 3Tap Language and select English or العربية
• 4Taqat will restart and apply the language change

To reset all app data while keeping the app installed:

• 1Open Taqat and go to Settings (gear icon)
• 2Scroll to the bottom and tap Reset All Data
• 3Confirm the action — this is irreversible

Your In-App Purchases (Premium, creatures) are not deleted — they are tied to your Apple ID and can always be restored. Only your bar history, mood logs, and streak data are deleted.

Yes — if you use iPhone's built-in iCloud Backup or transfer directly via Quick Start when setting up a new iPhone, Taqat's data (bar history, mood logs, settings) transfers automatically.

Your In-App Purchases transfer independently via your Apple ID — just tap Restore Purchases after installing on your new device.

There is no manual export or import feature in the current version of Taqat.
